On a former Grain market in the historic town of Jachymov, which, as you know, is divided into district hospitals and historic city quarters, a chapel of St. Anne, built in the classical style.

A small Church building, consecrated in the name of the mother of the virgin, was originally wooden. It was built in 1517. Very few wooden buildings survived the medieval fires and attack enemy armies and to reach today unchanged. Failed and the chapel in jáchymov. It burned a few times, but its hard restored. The first destructive fire occurred in 1642. Stone construction in the place of a wooden Church appeared much later – in the late eighteenth century. Five years after the construction of the chapel was closed. Forgotten by all, she remained there until 1803, when the city authorities contributed to its re-consecration.

During the fire, March 31, 1873, the chapel of St. Anne burnt out almost completely from it remained but a skeleton. High domed roof that once covered the temple has not been restored so far. Of course, the chapel is not left without arch, which periodically changes and is subjected to reconstruction, but it does not resemble the majestic roof of the past centuries. The latter is currently a serious reconstruction of the chapel of St. Anne was held between 1976 and 1993.

In the context of the chapel is a 12x9 rectangle m with beveled corners. Above the entrance there is a small bell tower with a domed roof.
