Well-known factory of vintage wines and cognacs "Koktebel" is one of the striking sights of the Crimea, whose products are widely known and in great demand both in Ukraine and abroad.
Growing grapes and winemaking in Otuz valley practiced since ancient times, local wines were famous even in the times of Medieval Russia and the Khazar Kaganate. After the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Empire viticulture and winemaking in this region began to grow rapidly.
