Kubba Almoravid, also known as koubba BA Adin, is a small ancient Muslim sanctuary, built in 1064, in the reign of the Almohad. Ethnically based Almohad was Berber mountain tribes masmuda that successfully competed with the nomadic tribes of sanhaja and zanata that underpin the dominant in the Maghreb, the Almoravid dynasty. It is noteworthy that the Kubba Almoravid was one of the few sanctuaries Almohad that were not destroyed by the tribes of the Almoravids.

The word "Kubba" in translation from Arabic means "the dome", which fully conforms to the shape of the building of the sanctuary. This sacred complex is the entrance to the mosque, where every believer is a Muslim traditionally performs the ritual washing. Unlike many other Moroccan sanctuaries entrance to the Kubba Almoravid allowed not only Muslims, but also representatives of other faiths.

Kubba BA Adin represents the whole sacred complex, which has been functioning for centuries. Once at this place there was a first public fountain, supplying local residents with drinking water. After the Kubba Almoravid was finally completed, here arranged another three new fountains and places of ablution. For this underground pools were built of bronze pipes, filling them with fresh water.

The main decoration of the Koubba Almoravid are beautiful arches and carved dome. Decorating their ornaments were traditionally used in construction during the life of the Almoravids.
