The infantry Museum was founded in 1982. It contains a rich collection of objects belonging to the infantry, as well as information on the activities and development of infantry units of the army since the beginning of the XVIII century. Up to our days.

The Museum is housed in two buildings on the grounds of the old barracks. The exhibition area of 2000m2 contains a large variety of exhibits, including military equipment.

The exhibition complements the collection of 151 photographs of soldiers, was awarded the Mannerheim Crosses and medals.

The exhibition tells about a soldier's life on the battlefield and in peacetime garrisons and on training grounds.
