Belarusian state Museum of folk architecture and life is a Museum under the open sky, the so-called "Skansen". Such museums are created to show the historical Genesis in vivo. The impression that this is a real living village, but the people all of the sudden left her. All items are left as if the owners is about to return.

There is a Museum in the suburbs of Minsk, near the village strochisy. Part of the Museum is located in the floodplain of the Pripyat river and is a protected landscape area. Museum area is 220 hectares.

The exhibition includes six historical-ethnographic sectors: Lakeland, Dnieper region, Central region, Eastern and Western Polissia Ponimanie. The relief of each sector is as close to natural conditions of the location of settlements.

Tourists can visit the Belarusian native houses, wooden churches, mill, farm buildings and even school. All genuine home.
