Square (Square) is a village located in the Gudauta district of Abkhazia, to the East from the town of Gudauta, on the black sea coast. The Western part of the village adjacent to New Athos. The distance between them is only 7 km away. the Village has repeatedly renamed. Until 1925 it was called Peter and Paul. In 1925 it was renamed the seaside, in 1948 – in Gogidze, and in 1967 - in Arsaal. Currently the village is the official name for Square, but it is still quite often referred to as Seaside.
