The aquarium, located right in the centre of Paphos town, is very popular among tourists and is the perfect place for a family holiday. Both adults and children can find there a lot of new and exciting, because when you visit this place, it may seem that actually walk on the sea floor.

Only in the aquarium, there are 72 large reservoirs that have been created using the most modern technology, made in the USA – filters, pumps and cleaning systems. In addition, each of these tanks are equipped with special lighting, really highlighting the beauty of colors and forms its interesting inhabitants. Also, the creators of the aquarium tried to bring the conditions of detention of fish to their natural habitat – underwater landscape, waves, vegetation correspond to those in which they live in nature.

Rich living collection, which you can see in the Paphos aquarium, consists of a huge number of diverse marine and freshwater fish, which were brought from all corners of the world – the oceans, seas and rivers. Almost every kind of fish there have a funny nickname that invokes a special interest in children - eating fish-crow, "dog muzzle", and even fish-Professor. In addition, a real "gem" of the aquarium is a huge tank of crocodiles.

Also on the territory of the aquarium runs a small restaurant, whose Windows offer stunning views of the city harbour and Paphos Castle, and a large gift shop.
