Seven kilometers from Sevastopol winery is "Alkadar". Long since in these places the grapes were grown, produced a wonderful wine. In 1872 the mistress of a manor seaside became V. S. Perovskaya, who was the mother of the famous revolutionary of Sophia Perovskaya. In 1889, a well-known entrepreneur F. O. Stahl purchased the land, and the farm became famous for its production. Since then more and more appeared connoisseurs of wine. These beautiful wine appeared on the table of the king. Viticulture and winemaking has evolved and would continue at this rate, if not for the events of 1917. Eyewitnesses claim that at the beginning of the revolution from the basement entrepreneur had poured the wine, to ensure that no one got.
With the advent of Soviet power created the farm "Alkadar". In 1927 it was renamed and given the name of Sophia Perovskaya. The previous name of the farm remained in Sevastopol agricultural Association, established in 1991. The name "Alkadar" is present at CJSC S. Perovskaya as a trademark and the name of the winery. This plant had a large capacity, which allows to process almost 8000 tons of grapes a year. For bulk wine sold 250 thousand tons of grapes of high quality. The wine was supplied to the plants, who were engaged in secondary winemaking, and after - on the tables for holidays and celebrations.
CJSC behalf Perovskaya has 800 hectares of vineyards. A large area given over to various technical grades of grapes that are intended for the manufacture of fine wines and different varieties of sparkling wines. There were made known to all vintage wines: Riesling, Aligote, "Chardonnay", "Cabernet", "Rkatseteli" and many others.
At the plant "Alkadar" in 2002 opened a hall for wine tasting. In this hall is not only the best tasting wines that are awarded in international contests with high rewards, but also get acquainted with the history of winemaking.
The tasting room is equipped with oak tables, which are made on special order and has a capacity of 60 seats. The room is also equipped with air conditioning. In summer, the room offers a cool and warm in winter. Each tourist arrivals in the hall offer nine samples of different wines, mineral water and several types of flat cookies. All tasters listen to the story, covering the history of wine, drinking culture, benefit wines, unique Sevastopol area and, of course, there are all kinds of legends about the wines.
