Today to touch the miracle, to plunge into the many faces ocean tale is possible in the largest Oceanarium in Russia – Sochi Discovery World Aquarium, which opened on December 26, 2009 in Sochi – the capital of the 2014 winter Olympics.

Exposition of the Aquarium has no analogues in Russia and is able to compete with the best aquariums in the world. The author of the project is investment company "ATEX international free economic zone (UAE), which has extensive experience in creating aquariums, Convention centers, entertainment complexes around the world. The first exhibition dedicated to the ancient fish species. Goldfish in four connecting aquariums shake their brightness and beauty. In open aquariums fuss carp "koi" and slowly float massive arowana, PACU and other representatives of the freshwater depths. One of the features of this area is a picturesque waterfall that can be seen by going to the bridge crossing the pond.

The exhibition transition "period of the ancient sea, where the atmosphere of the time is created with the help of thematic murals and three-dimensional models, is labyrinth fish and piranhas. Complete this exposition aquariums inhabited by rare species of fish, including Chinese velenosi and sturgeon.

Going down the stairs, freshwater plunge into the world of the world ocean. The combination of the two aquariums representing the coastal shallows and rocks, showcases the rich diversity of marine life: Moray eels, eels and wrasses, from dangerous and poisonous fish, cute seahorses, jelly fish and living coral.

The most impressive and memorable part of the exhibition – walk inside a transparent acrylic tunnel under the water, where they live their peaceful lives the representatives of the deep sea, living from the Amazon to South America! While moving in the tunnel of the Oceanarium occurs unexpectedly rocky reef, followed by a grotto with a sunken ship, inside of which the mermaids swim. The expanse of open sea and sailing around the denizens of the deep, especially fearsome sharks – forever leave a lasting impression.

Completes the journey through the Aquarium lagoon, populated by stingrays and small marine representatives, as well as an outdoor aquarium, where the inhabitants of the coastal zone.
