At all times it was believed that the monument is dedicated to a particular person, is set on the homonymous street. For example, a commemorative monument M. S. Babushkin is on the street grandma in the city of Syktyvkar, respectively, the monument to Lenin is Lenin street.

It was difficult to find a locality in the entire Soviet Union, which did not appear would be the Avenue or street named after a "world leader of the proletariat".
