Museum "Legends of Uglich is located in Uglich, on Spasskaya street. It was opened in July 2010 and immediately became a key point of one of the famous tourist destinations.

The Museum is located in the house of a merchant Alexei Posnov, which in 1907 opened the first in Uglich second-class hotel. The Museum explores the stories and legends passed down through the ages from generation to generation. This Museum is not like the other museums in the city, she tells the story of the people born in Uglich and brought fame to his hometown at the world, famous people, whose fates are closely connected with the history of this ancient town.

In the heart of the exhibition – that belonged to the family of nobles Luckovich linked by fate with the Uglich, another famous family of custom. It is noteworthy that the exhibits of this Museum are all in working condition: the piano from the 18th century, during the tour, it performs works by Russian composers, the gramophone, on which you can listen to old records, the first phone that was installed in Uglich, with it you can call.
