Estate Andreyevskoye from the point of view of historical value is absolutely unique. Her owners at different times were Musina-Pushkins, Kurakin, Volkonsky. The estate is situated in the village of Andreyevskoye.
These lands in the late 18th century had inherited a famous statesman, chief Procurator of the Synod, the discoverer of "the Word about Igor's regiment", the President of the Academy of arts in St. Petersburg, the famous collector and diplomat Aleksei Ivanovich Musin-Pushkin. He was a fine connoisseur of Western European and Russian art, therefore, built a mansion on the tastes of the time.
The most impressive Ducal house, which was built in strict compliance with romantic trends that appeared during that period in Western European architecture.
All the buildings were erected by Andrew asymmetric plan, as in the middle ages this was done in the construction of fortresses and castles. Built in a special way and utility building. It is made of red brick with semi-circular observation tower with glazed gallery. This building was connected with a two-storey wooden house. Its facade was decorated with 18 columns, lattice and lace adorned the balconies of the second floor. The architectural ensemble of St. Andrew looked fabulous and fantastic.
In the tab of Andrew Park was attended by English gardeners. Park took more than 3 hectares. It is very successfully combined elements of the largest landscaped parks in Europe and local scenic terrain of the river ILD. The most beautiful place in the Park is a Sunny meadow, which has spread its velvety green lawn in front of the count's house, surrounded by all the perimeter of the dense trees, mostly oaks with a stately canopy, towering over the open space of the clearing, which in the summer heat keep cool here. After dark shady parts of the Park, the abundance of light is especially conspicuous. In combination with the count's house this imposes on the estate ensemble imprint of originality, which exulted contemporaries.
In addition to the Park and the manor house in the estate "Andreyev" is the Church of the Annunciation in the village of Marino. It was erected in 1781. There were two altars in honour of the Annunciation of the blessed virgin Mary in honor of St. Nicholas.
In the parish Church was listed as 18 villages. The project of reconstruction of this temple was designed in 1899 by St. Petersburg architect Demyan V. A. In 1900 -1902, there was carried out a major restoration and construction and operation. The massive bell tower was installed separately from the temple, so that when the sludge would not be harmed in the building of the temple. The Church and bell tower were covered with iron. In 1909 was built fence with iron bars. The Cathedral was rebuilt by the merchants of Petersburg the Brush. 12 November 1901 consecrated the right of the altar, and on September 15, 1902 – left. In a renovated Church had three altars: in honor of the Annunciation of the virgin, in honor of Saint Nicholas and of the Holy GreatMartyr Demetrios. A Trustee of the Church in Marino made Prince Kurakin A. A., who was elected to this position in 1881 by parishioners.
For 20 years of service as a Trustee of the Prince had made a large donation to the Church. During this time the temple had been repaired several times and twice been updated inside and out, especially after the fire that occurred in the Church in 1893. The interior of the Church was badly damaged.
The fence around the Church was also destroyed, partially preserved only one chapel. But in spite of that, the slender silhouette of the Annunciation Church in ensemble with the colorful scenery of the estate still attracts the attention and delighted the guests of the estate.
