In the halls of the Museum of fine arts hosted an interesting collection of paintings, there are regular exhibitions of Egyptian and foreign artists and is "Alexandria Biennale - exhibition of works of artists of the Mediterranean countries. The Museum is housed in a beautiful mansion that in 1954 gave the city a rich family of Menasce. In the garden of the Museum stands a statue by Mahmud Mukhtar – the most famous modern Egyptian sculptor.
