The dendrological Park in Birobidzhan - environmental protection Agency, whose main task is the creation of a dendrological collection, cultivation of special collections of plants for the preservation and enrichment of plant resources, the implementation of educational, scientific, educational and economic activities.

The Park is located in the southern part of the Russian Far East, in the center of the Jewish Autonomous region and in the South-West of the administrative center of the region is the city of Birobidzhan. Park a total area of 19 hectares was founded in 1995

The territory of the arboretum is part of the Amur-Ussuri district far Eastern coniferous-deciduous forest area belonging to coniferous-deciduous forests. As for forested areas of the Park, it is presented conifers, deciduous trees and shrubs. Each year they sit down young saplings of spruce, fir and cedar. All work on the landscaping of the Park are conducted by the reserve "Bastak" and representatives of the regional branch of the Russian geographical society and the Ministry of natural resources.

In the arboretum is quite a lot of excursions. For this was created a sightseeing trail, which runs along the top of the hill. During the tour, tourists can see the richness of woody plants, wild flora of the area, but also introduced imported here from southern Primorye. From the heights offers an amazing panorama of ridges Bastak, Olduri, suji-Postoi. At the borders of the Park there are small ponds which are home to the far Eastern toad, Siberian Salamander, small animals and invertebrates.
