George convent, located on the mountain in October, as one of the attractions of Yessentuki.

In November 1998, the Metropolitan of Vladikavkaz and Stavropol diocese Gideon gave his blessing to the construction of the temple on mount Dubrovka, who later consecrated in the name of St. St. George The Martyr. For lining the walls of the monastery was applied white Ural marble. The interior of the monastery is represented by marble columns and mosaic floor. At the same time were established the Golden domes and bell tower erected.

In 2003, Bishop Theophan (the Archbishop of Vladikavkaz and Stavropol) was given the blessing to build in this place of the convent, which also had to accommodate a shelter for orphaned girls. Immediately built a Shrine was built a chapel, iconic shop and a separate building, which is inhabited by the nuns, nuns, pilgrims and the pupils of the orphanage. The first nuns came to the monastery in winter 2006 and they lived in the trailer.

In April 2006, took place the official opening of the St. George convent. The abbess was appointed as its first nun Varvara (Shurygin). In the same year, on Christmas eve, when the monastery opened a shelter for orphaned girls. In 2009 began the painting of the monastery.
