Park Kardinia" is the main public Park in the southern city of Geelong. Here is a variety of sites to practice various sports: the main stadium in the Australian Football League, auxiliary football stadium, a field to play cricket, pool outdoor, games in netball, various sports clubs and the Center for people of retirement age.

Park Kardinia was established in 1872. Originally known as "Plain Chilwell", it occupied an area of 24 ha. By 1911 the Park had two football stadium, one on the West side, the other on the East. In 1941 football club Geelong began to use the Eastern stadium for their games, as his home field, the stadium of Corio, was occupied by the military. Interestingly, today the stadium Corio is run by military units.
