Novoplanovsky bridge is one of the most beautiful cities of Ukraine Kamyanets-Podilsky and connects the two banks of the river Smotrich. Kamianets-Podilskyi ranks third in Ukraine by the number of architectural monuments after Kyiv and Lviv. In it there are about two hundred, and Novoplanovsky bridge is one of them.

Before the construction of the Novoplanovskogo bridge were houses at the Eastern shore of the river Smotrych. And January 31, 1874, was the Grand opening of this bridge, which has become quite an important milestone in the life of the ancient city of Kamyanets-Podilsky.
