The name of the monastery is translated from Thai as "Monastery of the Cave of the Tiger." This is the name of the monastery derives from the nearby cliffs, shaped like a tiger paw. In the main hall of the monastery, built inside a huge cave, the monks engaged in meditation. In the woods near the monastery you can see the numerous huts of monks and nuns. You can climb the 300-meter ladder to the large statue of a sitting Buddha and the imprint of his feet on top of a cliff. It offers a magnificent view of the surrounding area.
