The Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Lazarevskoye – Orthodox temples and one of the attractions of this resort.
A small but very beautiful temple in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker was built on the black sea coast in 1999 the Church in the style of ancient architecture was built in record time - 4 months. Its consecration took place on 30 April 1999
The facade of the temple is decorated with icons from the mosaic, made the best of Athos masters. The main Shrine of the temple, the relics of St. Nicholas, which was donated to the Metropolitan of Ekaterinodar and Kuban Isidor, on the day of the consecration of the temple. The interior of the Church impresses with its amazing beauty: wooden carved iconostasis, made by Russian masters from Sofrino, wall paintings, made in the best traditions of Russian and Greek masters XIV-XV century in accordance with the Canon of Orthodox iconography and icons made in academic and Byzantine style of icon painters from different times.
The walls of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker were selected scenes from the Gospels: the Resurrection of our Lord, the blessed Trinity, the last Supper, the descent of the Holy spirit.
