Historic town Hall located in the heart of the old town and was built in 1484, and rebuilt in the XVIII century by the architect Gregor Macek. The facade of the building made in the late Baroque style. Numerous decorations – decoration-style sgraffito, sculptures of mythological subjects, map of Ljubljana XVII century over the portal, leading to one of two courtyards – turn the Hall into a true gem of Ljubljana.
In the arched courtyard is a Fountain of Narcissus, the work of Francesco robba. Its original location was formerly the castle of Bocanci. Near the stairs is a monument to the memory of Ivan Hribar (1851-1941), the famous mayor of Ljubljana.
Opposite the town Hall is a fountain "rivers of Carniola" work Francesco Robba (1751). The rivers Sava, Krka, joblanca depicted here in the form of allegorical figures.
