Castle Schonborn near, near the Karpaty is not very old, it was built in the late 19th century on the site of an old hunting Lodge, which stood here since 1840, One of the highlights of the castle is the number of Windows corresponding to the number of days in a year is 365, the number of rooms is the number of weeks (52), the number of inputs – number of months (12). Surrounds the castle-Palace comely Park with unique trees, and near it there is a picturesque pond, the configuration of which conforms to the contours of Austria-Hungary.
Schönborn castle belongs to the monuments of national importance and is one of the most beautiful and well preserved castles in Ukraine. Built in neo-Renaissance style, the castle combines Gothic and romantic motives. After reconstruction in his appearance romanticism already prevailed: each component of the structure (chimney, tower) are just doing their practical problems, but also acted as a decoration built. Access doors and Windows are decorated with stained glass on biblical themes. In the geometric forms of the castle appeared architectural variation: balconies, four towers of different shape, tin weathercocks with the number "1890", stained-glass Windows in the chapel, the mass of chimneys, decorative battlements, emblems with crowns and crosses. The five leaves is the main element of the coat of arms of the Bishop of Mainz and Bamberg Lothar schönborn, the founder of the Transcarpathian branch of the house of schönborn. The highest tower of the castle along with family coats of arms adorn the watch.
In 1946 the estate was used as a sanatorium "Carpathians", where they treat diseases of the cardiovascular system.
