Mukachevo "Honey house" refers to the attractions of the "Transcarpathian honey road". This peculiar Museum of honey was discovered by the family of beekeepers will Cease in 2010. The Museum exposition presents a live hive with glass walls, all kinds of tools beekeepers, original collection toy bees and the sweet part of the exhibition - the honey samples from twenty-seven countries in the world. This collection was donated to the Museum the head of the Department of tourism of Uzhhorod National University Theodore Sandor. The collection also honey from Israel, Liechtenstein, India, Czech Republic, Australia. Visiting the "Honey house", you can taste four kinds of Transcarpathian honey and some honey drinks: Mead and honey balm herbs. The family of the organizer of the Museum is engaged in beekeeping for many years.
Along with different varieties of honey here you can see many useful products of beekeeping: zabrus, propolis, Royal jelly, bee bread, pollen, bee Podmore and even tincture, composed of wax moth larvae. The roof of the "Honey house" is decorated with a huge (weight - 40 kg) bee made Uzhgorod master.
In the future the organizers of the Museum are planning for a house near a special platform with a small apiary.
