At the moment the location of the houses carried out as follows: the greatest number of old houses are oriented with the front facades on the South side according to an old Karelian tradition, and the other part houses are oriented to the road; there are houses in those places pointed out by bikes. In this arrangement the living arrangement of Rubicola much changed and consisted of several rows of houses, oriented on opposite sides.
Typical Karelian appearance gives the village grove cemetery, overgrown with spruce and pine trees and located in the center of Rubicola. In the grove there is a chapel belonging to the second half of the 19th century. Along the small stream that meanders through the village groups are baths.
