Inkerman vintage wine factory was founded on 1 February 1961. The plant was built on the basis of the workings of construction limestone closed method. The stone from these quarries was used for reconstructing destroyed during the Second world war buildings in Sevastopol. After the production of limestone ceased, underground galleries a height of 12 m and a width of 10-12 m, located at a depth from 5 to 30 m from the surface of the earth, passed into the possession of the plant. In the galleries has established a special barrel and laid on the extract top brands in the wines: Cabernet Kachin", "Aligote Zolotaya Balka", "Crimean Port white", "Port red Crimea" and others. The first brand name of the factory was the wine Rkatsiteli Inkerman".

Professionals who work on Inkerman's factory, internship at vincamine "Massandra" and maintain the old tradition of making wine by aging in oak barrels for six months to five years.

Specialists of the company constantly conducts research to improve the technology of production of wines, studied resource base, creating new brand of wine. In 1990 Inkerman was recognized as one of the best wineries in the world. For all history of existence of the factory's products have won sixteen cups in Grand Prix, one hundred and thirty-five gold, about sixty silver and twelve bronze medals at International competitions and exhibitions.
