Narrow gauge railroad Banitis connects regional centers Gulbene and alūksne and is the only Baltic working narrow-gauge railway for General use. The path from Gulbene to Aluksne length of 33 kilometers left of the once functioning 212-kilometer railway Stuckman – Roll, created in 1903.
