Belosarayskoy lighthouse – a beacon of white stone, which is located on the sandy spit (Ukrainian part of the Azov sea). The lighthouse was built in 1935 and at the time was an octagonal tower with a height of twenty three meters, as well as various extensions, in which sailors lived and the people who service the lighthouse. And now this, one of the oldest lighthouses of Ukraine, acts. Still in its territory live three families of Rangers who go every night to light the lantern of the lighthouse, thus giving the ships hope for a speedy return home. On the territory of the lighthouse is magnificent fruit garden, with trees which were treated with more than one generation. The sea constantly rises to this narrow strip of land, and sometimes during the storm beats on the walls of the lighthouse.

Beacons were erected on Belosarayskoy spit a long time. Initially, there were wooden buildings. For example, in 1811, on the money of the merchants, was built vosemnadtsatiletnyuyu the lighthouse, whose light was visible at a distance of 20 miles from the coast. Noted here and the Cossacks, built in 1835 a new, lighthouse capital from imported piece Kerch stone. But in 1890, the lighthouse was equipped with a novelty at that time – a steam whistle, brought specially from Canada, which beep during heavy fog. And although today the lighthouse is equipped with the latest technology, the light from the fire is visible in the sea at a distance of only 14 miles, but the merchant's lighthouse was visible at a distance of 20 miles!
What is remarkable - since then the lighthouse has repeatedly modernized inside, but its appearance has hardly changed.
