Ruska in Marianske Lazne many tourists frozen in disbelief in front of a neat little Church of red brick, which is made in traditional English style. Neat house with a red tile roof and a large rose window rather expect to see somewhere in the Scottish or Welsh village, but certainly not in the Czech Republic. The emergence of the Anglican Church here is evidence that Marianske Lazne for several centuries, is considered a resort on a planetary scale and a favorite place of recreation for people of different nationalities and religion.

A small Anglican Church was built in Marianske Lazne on the funds of a resident of Albion – Mrs. Scott of Rodono, noble ladies who had lost at this resort with my husband and with the erection of the temple of God decided to perpetuate his memory. In 1867 she brings a town of 12 thousand pieces of gold, which was enough for the beginning of construction. The design of the Church was engaged the famous architect William Burgess, who lived and worked in London. This small Church became his latest creation. Supervised the construction of the temple personally Friedrich Sickler – another architect and architect, who has devoted much of his time working on architectural objects in Marianske Lazne. Was no exception and the Anglican Church. It was built very quickly, but after some time, began to be repaired and rebuilt, almost beyond recognition by changing the original intent of the two geniuses. From the construction of those years remained a few interior items, including a chair for the priest and a Board on which is engraved the visit to the temple of the king of great Britain Edward VII. Now the Church building is used for concerts.
