Pskov Church of St. Nicholas or Nicola Revealed from Bargaining is an Orthodox Church chapel of the Holy Trinity. Located on the so-called New Trade, which appeared in Pskov in 1510, after joining Moscow. It is believed that the Church of St. Nicholas was founded in 1419, however, about the fate of the building is no information. According to the chronicle, stone building of the Church in its present form was built in 1676 by architect I. Botulinum.

Unpretentious architecture of the temple remade many times. The chapel and the chancel were added later. In the main Church facades have a niche icons. The size of the Cathedral with a belfry is close to the square: length – about 28 meters, width – 26 meters. Height to the top of the cornice is about 11 meters. On the West side of the facade of the Church a belfry was erected, which had 5 bells 1693 and 1760's. Bell 1760 weighed over 400 pounds.

Church of St. Nicholas has Revealed 5 chapters, as is the case in Pskov architecture for Moscow. She studied Russian historian Ivan Zabelin, who came to the conclusion that this Church is the first example in the building of churches, when the head is not placed at the corners, and sent to the cardinal. On the drum core chapters were Windows, patched, most likely, after the 1917 revolution, when the Church was used as a warehouse. The drums of other chapters are dense, elongated, extending to the eaves. First the heads were covered with tiles, and now metal. In addition, the Church has a porch, a porch and a sacristan tent.

Scientist J. P. Spegalsky noted that the interior of the Church were distinguished by wealth: his front door, made of iron and kept until 1941 in the Pskov Museum were decorated with copper plates engraved with paintings, which depicted the story of three Christian martyrs: Azariah, Hananiah and Mishael.

St. Nicholas Church has a rich history. May 11, 1676, the town was a huge fire, which damaged many churches. In one of them, the Church of Paraskevi of Iconium, was located in a miraculous image of St. Nicholas. This Church could not be saved, however, the image of St. Nicholas saved and moved to the new stone Nicholas Church, which gave the chapel of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa, later renamed Trinity. The very same Church became known as Trinity-St. Nicholas.

In 1786-1842 years, the Church has attributed to the intercession Church Auction. In 1843 by believers under the guidance of a mentor (later hieromonk) Michael's Church was renovated and consecrated. In 1890, the St. Nicholas Church was again reconstructed. Since September, 1896, with the blessing of the Bishop of Pskov and porkhovskogo Antonina, priest V. Vostokov and Cantor A. Florensky on Sundays after the akathist (chants in the temple) was held moral and religious and antirazboinica reading. In February of 1914 from the Trinity Cathedral in St. Nicholas Church was moved icon of St. Hermogenes, consecrated in the capital at his tomb.

Since 1917 the Church was closed. It is possible that in 1920-1930 here was carried out executions, evidence of that is found inside and outside the building human remains riddled with skulls. During the Second World war, the Church also did not work. During the fighting here had a strong fire. In 1995, the Church of St. Nicholas was transferred to Pskov spiritual school. Since 2000 commenced work on the restoration of the Church and the creation of a new iconostasis.
