The volcano Iztaccihuatl, or Itusually, is an extinct volcano on the Mexican plateau, with a height 5286 m. the Snow on their peaks never comes down, and it gave rise to the name: "Iztaccihuatl" translated from the Nahuatl means "White woman". For ease of pronunciation mountain, often referred to simply as East. Beside it, another volcano – Popocatepetl.

Iztaccihuatl lies in the South-East at 70 kilometers from Mexico city.

At East four peaks, a shape similar to the head, chest, knees and feet of a sleeping woman. The highest from the tops – PECO rises to 5230 meters above sea level.

In 1889 it was the first ascent to the summit of giant. In subsequent expeditions on the East slopes were found objects of everyday life of the Aztecs, which suggests that the Indians conquering the summit more than once.

The locals tied with East many fascinating legends. One of them tells of the unrequited love of a Princess, an evil father which sent her fiance to war, believing that the soldier will not return, but he went through the war. But by the time his lover was already promised to another. Unable to bear the father's decision, she committed suicide. The warrior, seeing his future life without the beloved, too, have self-immolated. Love struck Cupid, and he turned them to the East and volcanoes Popo, who to this day inseparable.
