Gate Church of the intercession of the Nikolaev Klobukova monastery was built in the early 18th century (possibly in the late 17th). It is a unique Kashin architectural monument. Gate Church of the intercession is located on the North side of Trinity Cathedral.
The main distinguishing feature of the Church is three arches, which cut through the lower tier. Upstairs is the small size of the temple, adjoining the South and West side of the l-shaped arcade porch and a rectangular altar. In the plane of the high walls of the quadrangle enclosed by three semi-circular kokoshnik shape, its Northern facade is decorated octagonal window on the axis and a pair of semi-columns. Such an element is taken from the style of Naryshkin Baroque, typical of the late 17th century. On the podium with a promising innovative features is supporting the head and decorated with arcature-columnar zone of the drum.
The dynamics and uniqueness of the temple attaches to the junction of a rectangular and round corner volumes. This artistic technique is similar to planirovanie towers constructions in architecture of Yaroslavl and Rostov. But Kashin intercession Church architects went from stable symmetry and only the belfry tower did. Arched openings ringing decorated with a continuous roller in the form of archivolt. The bottom tier is separated by a wide belt, which consists of rods, some of his pants with dots and ribbon curb. The height of the belfry is equal to the gallery of the quadrangle; the pattern of the arch with archivolt, strips of panels and the curb, a horizontal thrust transferred from one part to another, emphasizing the unity of the whole composition.
